The following is an honest review of Finale by Stephanie Garber and my suggested age rating.
*The following may contain spoilers for Caraval and Legendary*
It’s been two months since Tella’s life came crumbling down. She now asks herself everyday who to trust: Legend or a Fate. Scarlett must withstand and accomplish the impossible. Caraval is over but the story is just beginning. The sisters must now fight harder than ever to save each other and the world they know.
“Welcome, welcome to Finale. All games must come to an end…“
Review of Finale
First off now more than ever am I dyinggg to read Once Upon a Broken Heart. I will never have enough of Stephanie’s beautiful and whimsically descriptive writing. She creates worlds and characters that are so unique you don’t even feel like you are reading.
Finale did not disappoint as an ending to this trilogy. This was the most emotional book yet and kept you guessing. There were many twists and turns but ultimately a satisfying ending. BUT, that doesn’t mean I don’t want more of these characters.
I loved how Caraval was about Scarlett and her POV. Legendary was about Tella and her POV. Then to finish the series we got Finale about both sisters and a dual POV. I think that’s such an interesting concept and something I thoroughly enjoyed.
Age Rating of Finale
Along with the rest of the trilogy, I am giving an Age Rating of 12 and up. There is romance, little to no mild language, and death with no gore.
