Synopsis of All I Want for Christmas
When performing in a singing competition Sadie and Max think they’ve finally had their big break. Everyone in Nashville has big hopes and dreams but it’s hard to not lose hope. After a performance together for duo week, Sadie and Max are forced to become a duo on and off stage or be forced to forfeit the competition. How long until they can’t keep up the charade? And how long until it isn’t a charade anymore?
Review of All I Want for Christmas
I read The Holiday Swap by Maggie Knox last year and fell in love with the cozy hallmark vibes. Normally I’m more of a fantasy reader, but during Christmas there’s nothing better than a cheesy feel good romcom. Although this wasss a cheesy feel good book it has its emotional and sad moments that add a real life feel. I loved Sadie and Max’s relationship I thought their romantic relationship was adorable along with their friendship.
Even though I loved this book I did have some things I disliked and I prefer The Holiday Swap. This book had a little TOOOOO much “miscommunication” in my opinion. I also struggled with the pacing and felt it was all over the place. My favorite part of the book was the fact that it’s set in Nashville. I used to live in Nashville so it was super special hearing about all the iconic places locations again.
